Good morning. It’s Sunday, June 8.

ABC News’ political correspondent Terry Moran has been suspended after slamming a Trump adviser in a late night post to his social media.

Moran, who sat down with the president in April, hit out at his Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller as being ā€˜richly endowed with the capacity for hatred’.

In a now deleted post to his X account, the ABC News correspondent said that Miller was the ā€˜bile’ behind the Trumpist movement.

President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio both stumbled as they boarded Air Force One on Sunday on their way to Camp David.

The stumble came after Trump talked with reporters in Hagerstown, Maryland, when he was asked if he would be willing to invoke the Insurrection Act in response to the protests against immigration raids in Los Angeles.

ā€œDepends on whether or not there’s an insurrection,ā€ said Trump.

Elon Musk aggressively body-checked Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent in the White House after being called a fraud – igniting a fiery clash that sparked the billionaire’s messy falling-out with President Trump, a new report claims.

The heated scuffle broke out in mid-April after both men pitched rival plans for the Internal Revenue Service to Trump in the Oval Office, with the president ultimately backing Bessent’s choice, the Washington Post quoted former White House official Steven Bannon as saying.

The pair left the meeting hurling insults at each other within earshot of the president’s office, Bannon told the outlet.

National Guard members arrived in Los Angeles on Sunday morning after President Donald Trump signed a presidential memorandum taking command of 2,000 guard members to quell anti-ICE protests in the city.

Protests broke out in Los Angeles on Friday in response to a wave of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids targeting illegal immigrants. Violence escalated on Saturday, prompting Trump to sign the memorandum and deploy guard members to the city.

Guard members arrived from San Bernardino County and gathered at the LA detention center, where illegal immigrants arrested during the ICE raids are detained. Trump had earlier thanked the National Guard for a ā€œjob well done!ā€

Federal immigration authorities said some of the migrants arrested in the Los Angeles area last week had criminal histories that included assault and drug offenses.

Nearly 45 people were arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement on Friday alone, as officers swept through several locations, including two Home Depot stores, a store in the fashion district and a doughnut shop, prompting protests that continued through the weekend against immigration enforcement operations in which officers raided businesses to arrest workers. The weeklong tally of migrant arrests in the city surpassed 100.

One man has already been sent back to Mexico after being picked up at a Home Depot on Friday morning. During the demonstrations, David Huerta, president of SEIU California, a labor union, was arrested and charged with impeding a federal agent while protesting.

Multiple women have accused Jared Leto of impropriety, with some calling the 53-year-old actor and musician’s behavior ā€œpredatory, terrifying and unacceptableā€.

In a new report by Air Mail on Saturday, nine women have come forward to accuse Leto of engaging in inappropriate behavior over the years, including flirting with teenagers.

Speaking to the outlet, one woman said that back in 2006, when she was 16 years old, Leto approached her outside a cafe in Los Angeles. According to the woman, Leto, who was seated with the actor Ashley Olsen, who was then 19, grabbed her arm.

Khaby – whose full name is Seringe Khabane Lame – was granted voluntary departure and has now left the country.
