Elon Musk said he is âdisappointedâ by the costs of President Donald Trumpâs âone big, beautiful billâ passed by Republicans in the House last week.
âI was disappointed to see the massive spending bill, frankly, which increases the budget deficit, not just decreases it, and undermines the work that the DOGE team is doing,â Musk told âCBS Sunday Morningâ in an exclusive broadcast interview.
The remarks by Musk, who recently stepped back from running the Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, are in contrast to Trump, who backed the legislation, which still needs Senate approval.

Amid the Trump administrationâs ongoing legal immigration push and fights with American colleges flooding their institutions with foreign students, Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced a ânew visa restriction policyâ targeting âforeigners who work to undermine the rights of Americans.â
âFor too long, Americans have been fined, harassed and even charged by foreign authorities for exercising their free speech rights,â Rubio wrote in an announcement on X.
âToday, I am announcing a new visa restriction policy that will apply to foreign officials and persons who are complicit in censoring Americans. Free speech is essential to the American way of life â a birthright over which foreign governments have no authority,â wrote Rubio.

Conservative Christians held a prayer rally with music, speeches, and giveaways at Cal Anderson Park in Seattle, Washington, on Saturday. The Mayday USA event â held in support of the âsanctity of human life, the sacrality of biological gender, the importance of the nuclear family, and the right to freedom of speech and religionâ â was mobbed by anti-Christian leftists, whose violence prompted a swift response by law enforcement.
While Seattle Police hauled away over 20 radicals on charges of assault and obstruction, the rioters still got what they wanted: The prayer event â which was characterized by Democratic Mayor Bruce Harrell as an example of âbigotry and injusticeâ â was shut down early.
In the wake of the incident and amid growing interest in whether the city intentionally set the prayer rally up to fail, FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino announced Tuesday evening that the bureau will âfully investigate allegations of targeted violence against religious groups at the Seattle concert.â

President Vladimir Putinâs conditions for ending the war in Ukraine include a demand that Western leaders pledge in writing to stop enlarging NATO eastwards and lift a chunk of sanctions on Russia, according to three Russian sources with knowledge of the negotiations.
US President Donald Trump has repeatedly said he wants to end the deadliest European conflict since World War Two and has shown increasing frustration with Putin in recent days, warning on Tuesday the Russian leader was âplaying with fireâ by refusing to engage in ceasefire talks with Kyiv as his forces made gains on the battlefield.
After speaking to Trump for more than two hours last week, Putin said that he had agreed to work with Ukraine on a memorandum that would establish the contours of a peace accord, including the timing of a ceasefire. Russia says it is currently drafting its version of the memorandum and cannot estimate how long that will take.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Wednesday that Israel had killed senior Hamas leader Mohammed Sinwar.
Netanyahu made the announcement in a speech to the Knesset, the national legislature of Israel. The Israeli leader had previously only said that the terrorist leader had âapparentlyâ been killed.
Sinwar was one of Israelâs most wanted targets. He was the focus of an Israeli strike on a hospital in southern Gaza earlier this month, and Netanyahu said on May 21 that it was likely he had been killed. There was no confirmation from Hamas.

Nearly 200,000,000 passwords have been exposed after digital thieves stole data tied to some of the worldâs biggest tech firms.
Lists of peopleâs login details were made available on a public database, including usernames, emails, passwords and, in some cases, financial data.
Security experts are now warning people to change their passwords to minimise the risk.
