President Trump on Sunday agreed to extend a deadline for the European Union to avoid punishing 50 percent tariffs on their exports to the United States following a phone call from the president of the EU’s executive branch.

The agreement means the EU and the U.S. will have until July 9 to reach a deal that would prevent the higher tariffs from being imposed. Trump had previously suggested the tariffs could be put in place on June 1.

Trump said the talks had been initiated by the EU.

President Donald Trump told journalists that he was ā€œnot happyā€ with Russia’s recent large-scale strike against Ukraine while speaking to the press on Sunday.

Speaking to reporters at Morristown Municipal Airport in New Jersey, Trump accused Putin of ā€œkilling a lot of peopleā€ in the attack, which was launched on Sunday afternoon.

A small, tight-knit group in former President Joe Biden’s inner circle was running the White House like a ā€œpolitburo,ā€ and they were the ā€œultimate decision-makersā€ as Biden’s health and cognitive function continued to decline, according to the authors of a bombshell new book.

This group, dubbed the ā€œpolitburo,ā€ included a coterie of seasoned political veterans, including Mike Donilon, Steve Ricchetti and Bruce Reed — but also family members such as first lady Jill Biden and the president’s son Hunter, the authors of ā€œOriginal Sinā€ claim.

ā€œIn terms of who was running the White House, it’s a small group of people that have been around,ā€ ā€œOriginal Sinā€ author Alex Thompson told PBS’ ā€œWashington Weekā€ on Friday. ā€œSome people within the administration called them the Politburo. That’s the term we used in the book.ā€

A dual U.S.-German citizen was arrested for allegedly trying to firebomb the U.S. embassy branch office in Tel Aviv, Israel, earlier in this month, the Department of Justice said Sunday.

Joseph Neumayer, 28, allegedly posted on social media that he planned to ā€œburn down the embassyā€ in Tel Aviv before traveling there, writing, ā€œDeath to America,ā€ according to a DOJ release.

Social media posts from an account believed to be used by him also revealed threats to assassinate President Trump, the DOJ said.

Thousands of bikers rode from the Pentagon through Washington, D.C. and around the National Mall on Sunday as part of the 37th annual ā€œRolling to Rememberā€ motorcycle ride.

Riders from across the country gathered in the Nation’s Capital to participate in this tradition, putting in hundreds of miles on the road to ride in the memorial.

ā€œIt’s an important causes to remember those who have served our country and those who have not made it back yet, those that are suffering PTSD,ā€ said Taz Sellers, who was one of the bikers taking part in the event. ā€œIt is emotional because my dad did serve. He’s in a better place right now. Especially since my dad passed, anything to do that honors our military is important. Today is for not only my dad, but all of our veterans.ā€

Podcast host Joe Rogan is apparently making a faith-driven change to his Sundays: He’s going to church.

According to Christian apologist Wesley Huff, who appeared on ā€œThe Joe Rogan Experienceā€ in January, the world-famous podcast host has been attending church ā€œconsistent[ly]ā€ since their on-air deep-dive into Christianity and the Bible.

Huff said, ā€œJoe Rogan and I have had on and off communication since then. I can tell you for a fact that he is attending a church, and that has been a consistent thing. And so, things are happening.ā€ The public speaker serves as the Central Canada director for Apologetics Canada and made the claim during a recent appearance on the ā€œLiving Watersā€ podcast.
