🔵 FBI Hunts Texas Dems

Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) says FBI Director Kash Patel has approved his request to help state and local law enforcement locate Texas Democrats who have fled the Lone Star State in hopes of stalling a partisan redistricting effort.
“I am proud to announce that Director Kash Patel has approved my request for the FBI to assist state and local law enforcement in locating runaway Texas House Democrats,” Cornyn said in a statement Thursday morning.
“I thank President Trump and Director Patel for supporting and swiftly acting on my call for thr federal government to hold these supposed lawmakers accountable for fleeing Texas,” Cornyn said.

Lindsey Langston, a Florida Republican state committeewoman and the reigning Miss United States, has filed a restraining order against Florida Republican Rep. Cory Mills, after reporting him to local and state law enforcement for harassment, threatening to release sexual videos, and to harm future boyfriends.
Langston told Drop Site News she and Mills began dating in November of 2021, and that she moved in with him at his rented Florida residence last summer. She broke up with him this February when she learned he had a second girlfriend from national news reports—the second girlfriend had reported Mills to police for allegedly assaulting her at their Washington, D.C. condo (though the woman, Sarah Raviani, later walked those allegations back).
Mills continued to harass Langston for months, she reported to police last month, despite repeated requests to be left alone. As part of a police report she made on July 14, 2025, she provided local and state investigators with timestamped digital evidence to support her allegations, which she also shared with Drop Site.

An arsonist reportedly targeted a Washington state Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) field office over the weekend, with photos showing fire damage and shattered glass from objects thrown at the facility.
Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin revealed the news of the alarming incident to the New York Post, stating that the unidentified suspect first threw a rock through a window of the Yakima building before lighting a blaze in the rear of the property on Saturday.
Photos obtained by journalist Nick Sortor show the burnt back lawn and a shattered window of the ICE field office:

Two years after the Supreme Court banned affirmative action, many public medical schools appear to be ignoring the ruling. Admissions data from 23 schools show that black applicants are being accepted with significantly lower MCAT scores than white and Asian students.
This pattern suggests racial preferences are still in use, despite the Court’s decision. Schools often justify it by claiming diversity improves care for black patients—a claim not supported by solid evidence.
City Journal reported:
That’s my conclusion after submitting Freedom of Information Act requests to all 93 public medical schools. I asked for several years of admissions data, including on students who matriculated in 2024, following the Supreme Court’s ruling against affirmative action in Students for Fair Admission v. Harvard. I sought data on race, undergraduate grades, MCAT scores, and admission status, in order to assess whether racial disparities in admission standards persisted after the decision.

Former Georgia Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan has joined the Democratic Party after falling out with the GOP, saying the switch has been coming for a while.
Duncan, in an op-ed published by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Tuesday, said his journey to becoming a Democrat began well before President Trump tried to “steal” the 2020 presidential election, an effort Duncan denounced at the time.
“There’s no date on a calendar or line in the sand that points to the exact moment in time my political heart changed, but it has,” he said. “My decision was centered around my daily struggle to love my neighbor, as a Republican.”

Israel’s security cabinet is meeting to decide on a full reoccupation of Gaza, a move that would mark a major escalation of the conflict after nearly two years of war in the territory.
Despite international pressure, opposition from the Israeli military and domestic fears the operation will endanger hostages, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has pushed for a complete takeover of the besieged enclave.
In an interview with Fox News shortly before the security cabinet meeting, Netanyahu was asked whether Israel plans to take military control of all of Gaza.

International observers are reporting that ISIS-aligned soldiers are beheading Christians and burning churches and homes in central and southern Africa – with some of the most brutal attacks happening in the nation of Mozambique.
The Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) – a counter-terrorism research nonprofit based in Washington, D.C. – is sounding that alarm about what it describes as a “silent genocide” taking place against Christians.
The Islamic State Mozambique Province (ISMP) recently released 20 photos boasting of four attacks on “Christian villages” in the Chiure district, in Mozambique’s northern Cabo Delgado province, according to MEMRI.
