šŸ”µ Iran Retaliates

Good morning. It’s Friday, June 13.

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei warned Israel on Friday it faced a ā€œbitter and painfulā€ fate in response to the attack launched overnight against the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program, as Tehran launched 100 drones toward Israel in its initial response.

Israel alerted its citizens on Friday morning that Iran had launched more than 100 drones — which would take several hours to arrive — telling people nationwide to remain near bomb shelters.

Three hours later, the IDF Home Front Command lifted its instruction to Israelis to remain near shelters without a single siren sounding in the country, after it worked to shoot them down outside Israeli territory.

An appeals court panel on Thursday allowed the Trump administration to keep thousands of National Guard troops deployed in Los Angeles to quell anti-ICE riots.

The US Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit issued the administrative stay just hours after a federal judge ruled that President Trump must ā€œreturn controlā€ of the Guardsmen to the state of California.

The Trump administration’s emergency appeal to the 9th Circuit was filed almost immediately after senior San Francisco US District Judge Charles Breyer allowed Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom to retake control of the roughly 4,000 National Guard members dispatched to LA at 3 p.m. ET Friday (noon local time).

On Friday, Israel launched what is being described as its most expansive and consequential attack on Iranian soil in recent history — targeting nuclear and military installations deep within the Islamic Republic.

Explosions rocked Tehran as Israel stated it was aiming at facilities tied to Iran’s controversial nuclear programme.

Among the fatalities reported by Iranian state media were senior members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the head of Iran’s missile programme and two top nuclear scientists.

The IDF on Friday afternoon announced that it not only struck Iran’s Natanz nuclear facility early on Friday morning, but even destroyed multiple floors of its underground facility, including the main hall containing its largest amount of centrifuges for enriching uranium.

Additionally, the military reportedly conducted a second round of airstrikes against the nuclear facility on Friday afternoon.

The IDF’s Spokesperson’s Unit clarified that Natanz is the largest uranium enrichment facility in Iran, adding that itis one of the few sites with capabilities to enrich to higher, weaponizable levels of uranium, as opposed to some sites which can only enrich to lower levels.

Israel’s massive airstrike attack left Iran’s military leadership in crisis as it killed several senior Iranian commanders — including the head of its Revolutionary Guard.

At least 20 senior Iranian commanders were killed in Israel’s strikes on Iran on Friday, sources said. Six nuclear scientists have also been confirmed killed in the strikes.

The strikes came after talks to reach a deal on Iran’s rapidly advancing nuclear program failed, raising Israeli fears that Iran would produce a nuclear weapon.

President Donald Trump issued his first response to Israel’s strikes against Iran on Friday morning, pressing Tehran to make a deal with the United States ā€œbefore there is nothing left.ā€

Israel began launching coordinated strikes against Iranian military and nuclear targets late Thursday evening. Just hours earlier, Trump confirmed to reporters that he had warned Israel not to carry out the planned strikes.

ā€œI gave Iran chance after chance to make a deal. I told them, in the strongest of words, to ā€˜just do it,’ but no matter how hard they tried, no matter how close they got, they just couldn’t get it done. I told them it would be much worse than anything they know, anticipated, or were told, that the United States makes the best and most lethal military equipment anywhere in the World, BY FAR, and that Israel has a lot of it, with much more to come – And they know how to use it,ā€ the president wrote on Truth Social early Friday morning. ā€œCertain Iranian hardliner’s spoke bravely, but they didn’t know what was about to happen. They are all DEAD now, and it will only get worse! There has already been great death and destruction, but there is still time to make this slaughter, with the next already planned attacks being even more brutal, come to an end.ā€

A network of leftwing agitators is distributing helmets, respirators, and other gear that appears intended for use in stand-offs with law enforcement to anti-ICE protesters on the ā€œfront linesā€ of the Los Angeles riots, a Daily Wire investigation has found.

The revelation follows the FBI’s arrest of a leftist who is believed to have handed out gas masks to anti-ICE rioters in an apparent attempt to neutralize the police’s tear gas and pepper spray. Alejandro Theodoro Ornella was charged with Conspiracy to Commit Civil Disorder, U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli announced Thursday.

The Daily Wire reported that he was not the only person involved in a scheme to furnish agitators with gear.
