🔵 Le Pen BANNED

Good morning. It’s Monday, March 31.

Marine Le Pen and 24 National Rally members were found guilty of embezzling EU funds to pay party staff, risking Le Pen’s future in politics.

Marine Le Pen, leader of the National Rally, was found guilty of misappropriation of public funds and barred from running for office “with immediate effect”, a Paris court decided on Monday, in a crucial moment for Le Pen that will determine her political future.

Eight National Rally MEPs and their twelve assistants have also been found guilty and given the same sentence.

President Donald Trump said Sunday that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is trying to back out of a rare earth deal with the U.S., adding if he does that he is going to have “some problems.”

“I think Zelenskyy, by the way, he’s trying to back out of the rare earth deal, and if he does that, he’s got some problems – big, big problems,” Trump said while speaking to reporters on Air Force One on Sunday. “We made a deal on rare earths, and now he’s saying, ‘well, you know, I want to renegotiate the deal.’ He wants to be a member of NATO. Well, he was never going to be a member of NATO. He understands that, so, if he’s looking to renegotiate the deal, he’s got big problems.”

Zelenskyy said last month that Ukraine is ready to sign an agreement on minerals and security with the U.S. at any time, noting that the agreement is seen as a step toward greater security and solid security guarantees.

A fire damaged the entryway at the Republican Party of New Mexico’s Albuquerque headquarters early Sunday, which the party called “a deliberate act of arson.”

The words “ICE=KKK” were spray-painted on the building, the party said in a media release posted to X. No one was hurt in the fire, it said, and law enforcement is investigating.

“This horrific attack, fueled by hatred and intolerance, is a direct assault on our values, freedoms, and our right to political expression,” it said. “This is not an isolated incident. It is part of a disturbing pattern of politically motivated violence that has plagued our country — fueled in part by the silence and implicit encouragement from progressive leaders who refuse to condemn these acts.”

President Trump said Sunday he’s “not joking” about serving a possible third term, marking the second time in less than three weeks that he’s floated the idea.

“I’m hearing — you don’t sound like you’re joking. I’ve heard you joke about this a number of times,” NBC News’s Kristen Welker said during a phone call with the president, discussing a third term for Trump.

“No, no, I’m not joking,” Trump responded, according to NBC News.

Billionaire Elon Musk, standing in front of a massive American flag, told supporters on Sunday that voting in Wisconsin‘s April 1 Supreme Court election would not only help protect President Donald Trump‘s agenda but “affect the entire destiny of humanity.”

“What’s happening on Tuesday is a vote for which party controls the U.S. House of Representatives,” Musk, who initially took the stage in a foam cheesehead hat, said. “That is why it is so significant. Whichever party controls the House to a significant degree controls the country, which then steers the course of Western civilization. I feel like this is one of those things that may not seem that it’s going to affect the entire destiny of humanity, but I think it will.”

Musk also handed out two $1 million checks to voters who signed his America PAC petition that opposes “activist judges,” declaring the winners his spokespeople. Musk told the audience at the KI Convention Center in downtown Green Bay that the reason for the checks was two-fold: To bring attention to the election and cause the press to “lose their minds.”

A Jackson Hewitt employee was recorded coaching illegal immigrants in New York City on how to obtain up to $14,000 in tax refunds, regardless of whether they were employed, as tax season approaches.

Turning Point USA contributor Savanah Hernandez was reporting outside the Roosevelt Hotel in New York City when she discovered a Jackson Hewitt table distributing flyers to illegal immigrants.

The flyers, written in Spanish, read, “Working or not, file your taxes and we can get the maximum refund for your family.” The flyer explained that if a person has three children, they can receive over $14,000.

With decision day looming this week for President Donald Trump’s latest round of tariffs, Goldman Sachs expects aggressive duties from the White House to raise inflation and unemployment and drag economic growth to a near-standstill.

The investment bank now expects that tariff rates will jump 15 percentage points, its previous “risk-case” scenario that now appears more likely when Trump announces reciprocal tariffs on Wednesday. However, Goldman did note that product and country exclusions eventually will pull that increase down to 9 percentage points.

When the new trade moves are enacted, the Goldman economic team led by head of global investment research Jan Hatzius sees a broad, negative impact on the economy.
