🔵 Musk Exposes SSN Fraud

Good evening. It’s Monday, February 17.

THE NEWS

Elon Musk sparked controversy by claiming he’d uncovered “the biggest fraud in history” in the Social Security database, alleging that over 20 million people are listed as over 100 years old and still alive.

He shared a chart ranging from ages zero to 369 and joked that “Maybe Twilight is real and there are a lot of vampires collecting Social Security.”

Official Social Security Administration (SSA) audits confirm there are millions of centenarian-plus entries that haven’t been updated.

THE NEWS

Michelle King, the acting head of the Social Security Administration (SSA), abruptly resigned over the weekend following a dispute with Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

According to insiders cited by The Washington Post, the disagreement centered on DOGE’s push to access sensitive SSA records to uncover potential fraud. In response, President Donald Trump appointed Leland Dudek to lead the agency while Frank Bisignano, his intended nominee for SSA commissioner, undergoes vetting.

Meanwhile, Musk continued to claim on social media that millions of people in the SSA database are listed as over 100 years old and still alive, reigniting concerns about record-keeping and fraud within the agency.

THE NEWS

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced that he has already selected investigators to examine the chaotic 2021 U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan.

In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News, Hegseth emphasized the need for a comprehensive fact-finding mission to understand who made critical decisions, why they were made, and how the withdrawal devolved into turmoil.

The catastrophic exit included a deadly suicide bombing that killed 13 U.S. service members and left hundreds of Americans stranded. Hegseth pledged that, once the investigative team establishes a clear chain of events, “accountability will be coming.”

THE NEWS

A federal judge ruled Monday evening that the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), led by Elon Musk, can proceed—for now—in accessing student borrower data held by the Education Department.

U.S. District Judge Randolph Moss, an Obama appointee, denied a request from the University of California Student Association (USCA) to immediately block DOGE’s access on grounds of insufficient evidence of “irreparable harm.”

The judge stressed that questions about USCA’s standing and other legal claims remain unresolved, leaving open the possibility of further legal hurdles for DOGE.

THE NEWS

Thousands of federal employees have been fired across multiple agencies following the passing of a buyout deadline set by the Trump administration.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and other departments confirmed terminations of probationary workers who did not accept an offered buyout or deferred resignation.

President Donald Trump defended the mass firings as part of his plan to achieve a “downsized” yet more effective government. Critics, including lawmakers and unions, argue the abrupt layoffs will hurt critical public services.

THE NEWS

In the wake of a deadly collision between a helicopter and a regional jet at Ronald Reagan Airport in Washington, D.C., SpaceX employees plan to visit the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Air Traffic Control command center to propose safety improvements.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy confirmed the visit, stressing that SpaceX will get a “firsthand look” at the current system to help design “a new, better, modern and safer system.”

A notorious radical vegan cult known as the “Zizians” is under renewed scrutiny after police in Maryland announced the arrest of its apparent leader, Jack “Ziz” Lasota, 34, and an acolyte, Michelle Zajko, 33.

They face multiple charges, including trespassing, obstruction, and illegal firearm possession, following a string of violent incidents and murders linked to various cult members across the United States.

Investigators say Zajko allegedly supplied the guns used in the murder of Border Agent David Maland on Jan. 20 and is also a suspect in the earlier slaying of her parents.
