A conservative influencer claimed she gave birth to a child fathered by Elon Musk in a shocking public declaration on social media.
Author Ashley St. Clair, 31, alleged in an X post Friday night that she and Elon Musk share a 5-month-old child.
“Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father,” read her statement, which was captioned “Alea lacta est,” Latin for “the die is cast.”
Two women have been shot during the Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl Parade festivities as one million fans descended on the city to celebrate.
Shots rang out as the Eagles took to the Philadelphia streets to share their victory with their hometown on Friday.
Gunfire rang out just before 2:30 pm on Friday.
A federal judge on Thursday blocked President Donald Trump’s executive order banning the federal government from funding or supporting child transgender drugs and surgeries.
U.S. District Judge Brendan Hurson granted a temporary restraining order against a pair of Trump orders, one cutting federal funding from doctors who offer children transgender medicalization and the other officially recognizing only male and female sexes.
“This is a population with an extremely higher rate for suicide, poverty, unemployment, drug addiction,” Hurson said during the hearing in federal court in Baltimore.
President Donald Trump has signed an executive order blocking federal funding from colleges and universities that still mandate the COVID-19 vaccine in 2025.
The order is one among many that Trump signed as he has moved fast to fulfill campaign promises in the first few weeks of his second term.
According to Fox News, the order prohibits “federal funds from being used to support or subsidize an educational service agency, state education agency, local education agency, elementary school, secondary school, or institution of higher education that requires students to have received a COVID-19 vaccination to attend in-person education programs.”
The Justice Department on Friday evening moved to drop bribery and fraud charges against New York City Mayor Eric Adams.
At least seven prosecutors resigned this week rather than obey a DOJ order to withdraw the indictment, with some criticizing department leadership for making the decision for political rather than legal reasons.
Acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove reportedly pulled the DOJ’s remaining public integrity prosecutors into a room and warned them that if one didn’t agree to file the motion dismissing the charges within an hour, they could all be fired.
Last August, the Department of Health and Human Services said its Chief Equity Officer, a man named Dia Harris, “embodies” the “DEIA commitment.”
A few months prior, this is how Harris introduced himself: “Greetings and salutations. I am Dia D. Harris, ACF Chief Equity Officer… My pronouns are he/him/el/il. I am unapologetically a black man.” On LinkedIn, Harris wrote: “I authentically live as an Unapologetically Blackity Black Black Man!”
But after the November election, he no longer seemed so committed to authenticity.
The U.S. Army announced on Friday afternoon that it is banning transgender-identifying individuals from joining and is cutting back on the roles that they will serve for those who are already in the ranks.
“The #USArmy will no longer allow transgender individuals to join the military and will stop performing or facilitating procedures associated with gender transition for service members,” the Army said in a statement.
“Effective immediately, all new accessions for individuals with a history of gender dysphoria are paused, and all unscheduled, scheduled, or planned medical procedures associated with affirming or facilitating a gender transition for Service members are paused,” the statement said.
A Russian drone struck the containment shell protecting the radioactive reactor at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, causing significant damage, Ukraine claimed Friday morning.
The protective covering that was placed around Reactor 4 in 2016 sustained a large hole from the unmanned aircraft.
“Last night, a Russian attack drone with a high-explosive warhead struck the shelter protecting the world from radiation at the destroyed 4th power unit of the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant,” Ukraine President Volodomyr Zelensky said Friday.
