Yes: “He never should have been found guilty in the first place, and will surely win on appeal. I'm sure the only reason Merchan is delaying the sentencing is to delay the appeals so the left can continue to shout that Trump is a "convicted felon." That is meaningless until the appeals are exhausted.”

No: “No, because it was a bogus trial from the beginning. Merchan knows he should recuse himself with his daughter’s ties to Demorat clients. This is a smokescreen to bide time. Waiting for the easily distracted public to take their attention away from this case.”
