1. Rioters Storm ICE

Rioters in Portland on Wednesday night were seen assaulting law enforcement with fireworks and explosives.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) shared video of the assault from rioters opposed to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations.

“Last night, Portland rioters violently targeted federal law enforcement— 250 rioters launched fireworks, shined lasers in officers’ eyes to temporarily blind them, and stormed an ICE field office,” said the DHS. “Ultimately, five individuals were arrested on various charges including assault on federal law enforcement.”

2. Iran Rejects Trump's Ultimatum

Iran‘s foreign minister said there is “no room” for negotiations with the United States so long as Israeli strikes continue.

Ahead of talks with European officials in Geneva on Friday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said negotiations with the U.S. would not begin until Israel stopped its strikes.

“Let me make the position clear. Under the current circumstances, and as the Zionist regime’s attacks continue, we are not seeking negotiations with anyone — especially not with the United States — on this matter. It is the Americans who are seeking negotiations; they have sent messages multiple times, including very serious ones. But we have explicitly told them that as long as the aggression and attacks continue, there is simply no room for talk of dialogue or diplomacy,” Araghchi said.

3. Appeals Court Allows Trump to Keep Control of National Guard

A federal appeals court ruled Thursday that President Trump can continue using California National Guard troops in Los Angeles to respond to social unrest sparked by far-left NGOs, while a legal challenge over the president’s authority proceeds. The ruling temporarily stays a lower court’s decision that declared the deployment illegal without California’s consent.

In a unanimous 38-page ruling, a three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit stated that President Trump acted within his legal authority under statutes permitting the federalization of the National Guard, deploying roughly 4,100 National Guard troops and 700 active-duty U.S. Marines to protect federal property and support immigration enforcement operations.

Trump invoked Title 10 to deploy the National Guard in response to far-left NGOs organizing destabilization operations—so-called color revolutions—masquerading as anti-ICE protests. The uprising, facilitated by dark money networks tied to the left, aimed to ignite nationwide unrest and trigger a ‘summer of love’ reminiscent of the chaotic BLM riots in 2020.

4. Massive Drug Tunnel Found Linking Mexico to US

US Border Patrol agents recently discovered and disabled a nearly 3,000-foot-long narcotics smuggling tunnel sitting beneath the US-Mexico border.

Agents found the tunnel — which linked Tijuana and San Diego — in early April while it was actively under construction.

The underground passageway ran under part of the Otay Mesa Port of Entry and had a projected exit point near or inside a commercial warehouse space in San Diego, according to an announcement from US Customs and Border Protection.

5. Nationwide McDonald's Boycott Planned for June 24

McDonald’s is set to join the growing list of companies subject to boycotts this year, led by a group advocating for “economic resistance” as a means toward corporate accountability and “real justice for the working class.”

As part of its ongoing “Economic Blackout Tour,” The People’s Union USA, the movement behind boycotts of Target and Walmart, is urging Americans to refrain from shopping at the restaurant chain between June 24 and 30.

The first half of 2025 has been marked by boycotts of several household-name companies, sparked by certain corporations rolling back diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, as well as wider pushback against practices such as tax avoidance and underpaying workers.

6. 16 Billion Apple, Facebook, Google Passwords Leaked

All Apple, Facebook and Google users are being told to change their passwords right now – after a colossal leak exposed as many as 16 billion logins.

It’s being called one of the largest data breaches in history, giving hackers “unprecedented access” to your personal info and online accounts, experts warn.

Worryingly, this isn’t just old info that’s been repackaged, but is “recent” data belonging to unsuspecting victims, according to CyberNews.

7. UK Lawmakers Approve Assisted-Dying Law

British lawmakers voted Friday to legalize assisted dying — a final step in the House of Commons that means the practice will almost certainly be permitted in England and Wales in the coming years, marking a pivotal societal change.

Lawmakers voted 314 to 291 for legalization following an impassioned, four-hour debate. Modeled on a law in Oregon, the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill will allow terminally ill people to choose to die. Those with less than six months to live will be permitted to seek lethal medication from the National Health Service, subject to approval of two doctors and a panel of experts.

The bill now moves to the House of Lords, the upper chamber of the British Parliament, for further scrutiny, but it is highly likely to become law.
