1. Russia's Pearl Harbor

An operation by Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) using first-person-view (FPV) drones smuggled deep inside Russian and hidden inside trucks has hit 41 Russian heavy bombers at four airfields across the country, a source in the agency told the Kyiv Independent on June 1.

The operation — codenamed “Spider web” and a year-and-a-half in the planning — appears to have dealt a major blow to the aircraft Moscow uses to launch long-range missile attacks on Ukraine’s cities.

“The SBU first transported FPV drones to Russia, and later, on the territory of the Russian Federation, the drones were hidden under the roofs of mobile wooden cabins, already placed on trucks,” the source said.

2. FBI Bans Pride Month Celebration at Work

Agents and directors at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) received an email from leadership on Thursday instructing them not to participate in Pride Month in their professional capacity, a departure from the tone of the Biden administration’s bureau.

“I’ve received several questions about the FBI’s stance on Pride Month and what related activities FBI divisions and employees should or should not participate in,” FBI Assistant Director for Public Affairs Ben Williamson said in an email obtained by Fox News Digital addressed to assistant directors in charge and special agents in charge on Thursday morning.

“So, I want to take the opportunity to make FBI leadership’s expectations clear: There should be no official FBI actions, events, or messaging regarding Pride Month.”

3. US Sends Iran Proposal on Nuclear Deal

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has seen some of the first details of a U.S.-drafted proposal for a new deal to restrain his country’s nuclear ambitions.

In a May 31 post on social media platform X, Araghchi announced Omani Foreign Minister Badr al-Busaidi, who has served as an intermediary in recent U.S.–Iran talks, paid a short visit to the Iranian capital city of Tehran to relay the available details of the U.S.-backed proposal.

The Iranian official did not reveal any specific details of the plan, but said it “will be appropriately responded to in line with the principles, national interests, and rights of the people of Iran.”

4. Jerrold Nadler’s Aide Detained by DHS Agents

Longtime Democratic Rep. Jerrold Nadler slammed President Trump for “sowing chaos” nationwide after federal agents handcuffed one of his aides inside his lower Manhattan office.

The lawmaker’s verbal tirade came after Department of Homeland Security officers entered the Big Apple office Wednesday and accused his staff of “harboring rioters” in a dramatic confrontation caught on video.

“President Trump and the Department of Homeland Security are sowing chaos in our communities, using intimidating tactics against both citizens and non-citizens in a reckless and dangerous manner,” he said in a statement to Politico.

5. WATCH: Cory Booker Gives ‘Nazi Salute’ at Dem Convention

Conservatives are mocking Sen. Cory Booker for delivering an alleged “Nazi salute” to California Democrats, while quipping the New Jersey Democrat won’t get the same scrutiny Elon Musk did when he raised his arm to MAGA supporters in January.

“NEW: Democrat Senator Cory Booker appears to do a ‘Nazi’ salute in front of a large crowd of Democrats. I’m looking forward to the wall to wall coverage from the ‘honest’ and totally not biased media,” Trending Politics co-owner Collin Rugg posted to X, accompanied by footage of the gesture.

“If Elon Musk is a Nazi for doing this gesture… Cory Booker is one too. Sorry, I don’t make the rules,” X user Angela Belcamino posted.

6. Xi Jinping’s Daughter Faces Call to be Deported from US

Chinese President Xi Jinping’s daughter is facing calls to be deported by far-right conservative commentator Laura Loomer.

Xi Jinping’s daughter, Xi Mingze, graduated from Harvard University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology in 2014.

Loomer said that Xi Mingze still resides in Massachusetts as a foreign student. However, there is no publicly available evidence that she remains in the U.S. The New Yorker reported in 2015 that after graduating from Harvard University Xi Mingze returned to China and has maintained a low profile since.

7. Paris Holocaust Memorial, Synagogues Vandalized

France’s Holocaust memorial and three Paris synagogues and a restaurant were vandalised with paint overnight Saturday, in what the Israeli embassy denounced as a “coordinated anti-Semitic attack”.

An investigation has been opened into “damage committed on grounds of religion”, the Paris public prosecutor’s office said. No arrests have been made.

French Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau said he was “deeply disgusted by these heinous acts targeting the Jewish community,” in a post on X.
