Multiple incendiary devices were found inside a Tesla showroom in Austin, Texas, on Monday morning as nationwide threats against CEO Elon Musk continue.
Austin Police Department officers were called to the electric vehicle showroom just after 8am after an anonymous caller reported that there were bombs placed inside the building.
Authorities rushed to the scene and located multiple āsuspicious devicesā at the Tesla dealership. The Austin Police Department Bomb Squad were also called to help.


A Florida man was arrested after driving a car into a group of protesters at a Tesla dealership, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriffās Office.
The suspect, 44-year-old Andrew Dutil, ādrove his vehicle, jumping the curb onto the sidewalk at a slow rate of speed into a crowd of protestorsā on Saturday, police said in a statement.
Police received ānumerous callsā regarding a black Nissan SUV driving āup on a curb in front of the Tesla dealerships almost striking multiple pedestrians,ā according to police.

The Department of Justice is exploring potential criminal charges against former U.S. Institute of Peace (USIP) officials who attempted to block the Trump administrationās leadership changes at the federally funded think tank Monday, a senior DOJ official told the Daily Caller News Foundation.
The official, who requested anonymity, told the DCNF the DOJ is examining whether certain USIP actions ā such as the removal and destruction of internal and external door locks ā created illegal fire hazards.
The official also flagged the widespread distribution of internal flyers instructing USIP staff not to cooperate with incoming Trump administration officials as potentially obstructive conduct. The DCNF was the first to report on USIPās internal flyer campaign and destruction of door locks.

Peace talks between U.S. and Russian delegations aimed at ending the war in Ukraine are underway Monday in Saudi Arabia, according to media reports.
The discussions come after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said a delegation from his country had a āquite usefulā meeting with an American team in Riyadh on Sunday.
āOur team is working in a fully constructive manner, and the discussion is quite useful. The work of delegations continues. But no matter what weāre discussing with our partners right now, Putin must be pushed to issue a real order to stop the strikes ā because the one who brought this war must be the one to take it back,ā Zelenskyy said.


Former Utah Rep. Mia Love died Sunday at her home of glioblastoma, a type of brain cancer.
In 2014, she made history as the first black Republican woman elected to the House of Representatives and as the first black person elected to Congress from Utah.
Love represented Utahās 4th Congressional District for two terms from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, she was mayor of Saratoga Springs, Utah, and a member of its City Council.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) said this week that the state was returning nearly $900 million to the federal government, something it tried to do repeatedly during the Biden administration.
āFor years, Florida has been trying to return federal funds to the federal government due to the ideological strings attached by the Biden Administrationābut they couldnāt even figure out how to accept it,ā DeSantis said in a post on X.
The governor said that he met with Elon Musk on Friday and the rest of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) team and was able to return the money.
