🔵 Eagles WIN

Good evening. It’s Sunday, February 9.

The Philadelphia Eagles halted NFL history in its tracks, as they dominated the Kansas City Chiefs, 40-22, to win Super Bowl LIX at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Sunday night.

The Chiefs were looking to be the first team in NFL history to win three straight Super Bowls, but the Eagles, a team who lost to the Chiefs two seasons ago in the “Big Game,” made sure to enact revenge.

Philadelphia now has its second Lombardi Trophy for the organization, having defeated Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in 2018.

Donald Trump sent crowds wild tonight as he took to the field and made history as the first sitting president to attend a Super Bowl game.

Trump strode onto the field with his daughter Ivanka and son Eric to shake hands with players and local cops before kickoff at the New Orleans Superdome.

He posed for photos with family members of victims in the New Year’s Eve ISIS attack on Bourbon Street and emergency responders and waved to the cheering crowd.

Taylor Swift isn’t on her “Eras Tour” anymore.

The pop star showed up to Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans on Sunday, and the fans there gave her a loud chorus of boos when she was shown on the Caesars Superdome jumbotron.

Swift didn’t look as if she was too familiar or comfortable being booed by a large crowd as her expression turned to visibly nervous confusion once the chorus began.

President Donald Trump will be the first sitting president to attend the Super Bowl on Sunday when he sits down to watch the Kansas City Chiefs face off against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Prior to the historical moment, Trump sat down with Fox News’s Bret Baier and reflected upon his first three weeks in office. During the wide-ranging interview, the president discussed his love for sports, his goals for the country, and how the 47th president is different from the 45th.

Here are the top takeaways from Trump’s pre-Super Bowl interview.

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) canceled more than $180 million in contracts over 48 hours, including a nearly $170,000 contract for an Anthony Fauci museum exhibit.

“In the past 48 hours, HHS canceled 62 contract [sic] worth $182 million,” The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) announced in a Friday social media post.

“These contracts were entirely for administrative expenses – none touched any healthcare programs. This included terminating a $168,000 contract for an Anthony Fauci exhibit at the NIH Museum.”

Elon Musk has called for the impeachment of an Obama-appointed judge who barred DOGE and the Treasury Secretary from accessing payment systems at the US Treasury.

On Friday night, Democrats went ‘judge shopping’ to ask that Musk’s team be stopped from accessing Treasury systems, knowing that instead of receiving a judge by random selection, the only available judge would be Paul Engelmayer – who held an ex-parte hearing without DOJ lawyers. Engelmayer did not cite any case law or precedent for his ruling, which many have criticized for vast overreach.

The order prohibits special government employees, along with those from outside the Treasury department, and the Treasury secretary himself, from accessing the systems.

President Donald Trump announced plans to put a stop to producing pennies, which cost more than their value to make.

“For far too long, the United States has minted pennies which literally cost us more than 2 cents,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“This is so wasteful! I have instructed my Secretary of the US Treasury to stop producing new pennies.”

President Donald Trump said on Sunday that he plans to announce on Monday that he is imposing a 25% tariff on steel and aluminum imports into the United States.

“We’ll also be announcing steel tariffs on Monday,” he told reporters on Air Force One Sunday.

“Any steel coming into the United States is going to have a 25% tariff,” Trump said, adding that aluminum imports would also have the same tariff.
