President Donald Trump doubled down Sunday on his plan to use tariff revenue to slash ā and possibly eliminate ā income taxes for millions of Americans.
The former president took to Truth Social to tout his vision, claiming that his sweeping tariffs could lead to big tax breaks for workers making under $200,000 a year.
āWhen Tariffs cut in, many peopleās Income Taxes will be substantially reduced, maybe even completely eliminated. Focus will be on people making less than $200,000 a year,ā Trump wrote.


The pilot of the military Black Hawk helicopter that collided with a passenger airplane over Washington, D.C., in January ignored instructions to change course seconds before the crash, according to a new report.
The report, published by the New York Times on Sunday, detailed the Black Hawkās exchanges with air traffic controllers in the lead-up to the disaster, which left 67 people dead.
According to the report, the Black Hawk pilot, Capt. Rebecca Lobach, was conducting her annual flight evaluation and her co-pilot, Chief Warrant Officer 2 Andrew Loyd Eaves, was serving as her flight instructor.
