🔵 Trump Slams Zelensky
Good evening. It’s Wednesday, April 23.

U.S. President Donald Trump castigated Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on April 23, after the Ukrainian leader said his country would not legally recognize Russian control over Crimea.
The U.S. government recently presented a proposal to end the ongoing Russia–Ukraine war.
The White House has yet to confirm details of the proposal, but Vice President JD Vance has indicated that the plan would freeze the fighting along the current territorial lines.

Ben Shapiro traveled to war-torn Kyiv this week for an exclusive 60-minute face-to-face interview with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Speaking in front of the Saint Sophia Cathedral, Shapiro questioned Zelensky on several topics, including his tense March meeting with President Donald Trump, the substantial amount of American taxpayer money Ukraine is receiving, and prospects for peace with Russia.
The interview will be released in two parts on the Ben Shapiro Show on Thursday and Friday.

President Donald Trump on April 23 announced additional education reform measures that he said will promote transparency and meritocracy over diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives; boost technology and innovation; and improve learning environments.
During the signing ceremony and news conference in his office, he was flanked by Education Secretary Linda McMahon, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, and several disabled military veterans.
The first executive order, “Transparency Regarding Foreign Influence at American Universities,” requires higher education institutions to disclose donors’ nation of origin and other information. The president did not disclose the rules for compliance.

The tension between Department of Government Efficiency lead Elon Musk and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent came to a head last week when the two had a heated argument in the halls of the White House, two sources familiar with the tiff told The Post.
The conversation — about the IRS — got so tense, Axios first reported, the two men got in each other’s faces in earshot of President Trump.
“Elon was shouting and rambling and Scott just wasn’t putting up with it,” one source close to the White House said.

President Donald Trump said he’ll announce new tariff rates for U.S. trading partners over the next two to three weeks.
The president announced reciprocal tariff rates specific to individual countries, plus a flat, 10% tariff rate for all trading partners, in early April.
He would go on to announce a 90-day pause on the higher reciprocal tariffs for all trading partners but China to allow countries to negotiate new bilateral trade deals with the White House.

In a midday attack that has rattled a Bronx neighborhood, a 50-year-old career criminal with 19 prior arrests allegedly attempted to rape a 70-year-old woman in broad daylight—only to reportedly be tracked down and beaten by outraged local residents the next day.
The incident unfolded around 1 p.m. Friday, April 18, near Creston Avenue and East 184th Street, according to a New York City Police Department press release.
Police said the suspect, later identified as Oswaldo Ramos, approached the elderly woman from behind and attempted to sexually assault her before fleeing the scene on foot.

A Black footballer from Cameroon mocked Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, insulted the police, boasted that he eats for free and does not pay rent, and that he “f**ks Italian girls.” He has now been fired from the Cluentina Calcio football club in Italy.
The striker, Domingue Ibii Ngwang, filmed himself in front of a police vehicle parked in front of the police headquarters in Macerata. He made the extremely vulgar and pedophilic remarks towards Meloni’s 7-year-old daughter.
“Meloni, I heard that you have a beautiful daughter… I’m black, handsome and hot, with my handsome and hot brother. We eat for free, we sleep for free, we don’t pay rent and then f**k Italian girls.”
