šŸ”µ Trump Stops Ukraine Aid

Good evening. Itā€™s Monday, March 3.

The Trump administration is pausing all aid to Ukraine, including weapons in transit or in Poland, until Ukrainian leaders show more appreciation for U.S. support and a commitment to peace, Fox News has reported.

The pause comes days after a contentious meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and President Donald Trump in the White House over how to end the three-year conflict initiated by Russia.

ā€œPresident Trump has been clear that he is focused on peace,ā€ a White House official told Fox News. ā€œWe need our partners to be committed to that goal as well. We are pausing and reviewing our aid to ensure that it is contributing to a solution.ā€

Firefly Aerospaceā€™s Blue Ghost lander has captured a gorgeous shot of sunrise on the moon as it begins its workday on the lunar surface.

Blue Ghost aced its lunar landing attempt on Sunday (March 2), setting down close to Mons Latreille, a solitary lunar peak in the vast basin Mare Crisium (ā€œSea of Crisesā€) in the northeastern region of the moonā€™s near side.

And the spacecraft is already getting to work, starting up its science payloads and capturing amazing images of its surroundings and the distant Earth from the lunar surface.

After last weekā€™s botched Epstein files release, many are calling for Attorney General Pam Bondi to be fired over the lame binders given to right-wing influencers and journalists that contained old information.

On Monday, Bondi appeared on Fox News, where she told host Sean Hannity that she received a truckload of files on Friday morning containing additional Epstein files which were hidden away in the Southern District of New York.

ā€œFBI handed over a couple hundred pages of documents, but you know Sean, I gave them a deadline of Friday at 8am to get us everything, and a source had told me where the documents were being kept ā€“ southern district of new york (shock), so we got ā€“ hopefully all of them, Friday at 8am. Thousands of documents,ā€ said Bondi.

President Trump said Monday that Canada and Mexico have ā€œno room leftā€ for talks to avoid a new 25% tariff ā€” with the duty set to begin at midnight alongside a new 20% tariff on Chinese goods.

ā€œOn the tariffs, is there any room left for Canada and Mexico to make a deal before midnight?ā€ a journalist asked Trump at the White House.

ā€œNo room left for Mexico or for Canada,ā€ Trump replied.

Carl Dean, Dolly Partonā€™s husband for more than half a century, is dead ā€¦ according to the icon herself.

Dolly announced Carlā€™s passing Monday evening, saying her beloved will be laid to rest in a private ceremony with their immediate family.

While she did not mention a cause of death, Carl had been diagnosed with Alzheimerā€™s Disease in 2019.

Days after Attorney General Pam Bondi claimed that FBI agents out of the New York Field Office withheld thousands of documents related to the Jeffrey Epstein case ā€“ after an utterly botched rollout of the ā€œEpstein Files,ā€ the head of the NY Field Office, James Dennehy, was ā€˜forced to resignā€™ ā€“ and says he wasnā€™t given any explanation for the decision from Washington.

ā€œLate Friday, I was informed that I needed to put my retirement papers in today, which I just did. I was not given a reason for this decision,ā€ wrote Dennehy, a US Marine Corps veteran, in a missive obtained by the NY Post.

According to Dennehy, who apologized for the abruptness of his resignation (firing). Dennehy had also told staffers to ā€œdig inā€ after officials who investigated the Jan. 6 riots at the US capitol were forced out of their roles.

First lady Melania Trump on Monday went to Capitol Hill to put her support behind a bill that would make illegal the publishing of so-called deepfake pornography and ā€œnon-consensual intimate imagery.ā€

ā€œWe must prioritize robust security measures and uphold strict ethical standards to protect individual privacy,ā€ the first lady told reporters as part of a larger event that included a roundtable discussion on the issue.

Others that joined the first lady included Texas GOP Sen. Ted Cruz and Elliston Berry, a 15-year-old high school student who was a victim of deepfake pornography.

On Monday, the GOP-led Senate confirmed Linda McMahon to become secretary of the Education Department, a federal agency that President Donald Trump has indicated he wants to dismantle in favor of giving states more power in running schools.

Senators voted 51-45 to approve McMahon, who is now the 20th Cabinet pick to be confirmed by the upper chamber and the 21st overall nominee for a leading role; Kash Patel got the nod to become FBI Director, which is not a Cabinet-level role.

ā€œItā€™s an honor to serve as the 13th Secretary of Education under President Trump,ā€ McMahon said on X with a photo of her being sworn in.
