šŸ”µ Trump Turns on Putin

Good morning. It’s Monday, May 26.

President Donald Trump said Sunday that Vladimir Putin ā€œhas gone absolutely CRAZY,ā€ after the Russian leader launched the largest aerial attack of Moscow’s three-year full-scale war on Ukraine.

ā€œI’ve always had a very good relationship with Vladimir Putin of Russia, but something has happened to him. He has gone absolutely CRAZY! He is needlessly killing a lot of people, and I’m not just talking about soldiers. Missiles and drones are being shot into Cities in Ukraine, for no reason whatsoever,ā€ Trump posted on Truth Social.

Hours earlier, Trump had told reporters: ā€œI’m not happy with what Putin is doing. He’s killing a lot of people, and I don’t know what the hell happened to Putin.ā€

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said Ukraine has been given permission to use weapons supplied by its allies to launch strikes deep inside Russia.

ā€œThere are absolutely no range limits anymore for weapons delivered to Ukraine, not from Britain, the French or from us — also not from the Americans,ā€ Merz said at a conference in Berlin on Monday. ā€œThat means Ukraine can defend itself by attacking military positions also in Russia.ā€

Ukraine’s Western allies are trying to put pressure on the Kremlin after Moscow launched its biggest drone barrage against Ukraine since the full-scale invasion over three years ago.

President Donald Trump, marking Memorial Day at Arlington National Cemetery on Monday, waded into politics during remarks to pay tribute to those who died in America’s wars.

Trump took a swipe at the previous administration after speaking about the first soldiers who died at Bunker Hill.

ā€œThose young men could never have known what their sacrifice would mean to us, but we certainly know what we owe to them. That valor gave us the freest, greatest and most noble Republic ever to exist on the face of the earth. A republic that I am fixing after a long and hard four years. That was a hard four years we went through,ā€ Trump said, prompting some applause from the audience.

French President Emmanuel Macronā€˜s wife shoved him in the face as they touched down in Vietnam for a state visit — which the embarrassed-looking leader admitted Monday came while they were ā€œsquabbling.ā€

Shocking footage of the incident shows the president’s plane door opening to reveal Macron at the entrance in the Vietnamese capital, Hanoi, on Sunday evening.

Suddenly, his wife Brigitte’s arms emerge from the left of the open doorway as she places both hands on her husband’s face and shoves him firmly.

The FBI is investigating ā€œpotential public corruptionā€ in three well-known cases that include the D.C. pipe-bombing probe, cocaine found at President Joe Biden’s White House, and a leak of the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision, Deputy Director Dan Bongino said.

Bongino took to social platform X on Monday morning to say he and FBI Director Kash Patel decided to ā€œre-open, or push additional resources and investigative attentionā€ toward the three cases.

ā€œShortly after swearing in, the Director and I evaluated a number of cases of potential public corruption that, understandably, have garnered public interest,ā€ Bongino wrote.

The Horry County Police Department is asking locals to steer clear of the area following reports of a mass shooting.

The incident occurred on Watson Avenue in Little River and police are saying that at least 11 individuals have been transported to area hospitals by Horry County Fire Rescue.

Police also said via social media that they have received reports of others arriving at area hospitals via personal vehicles.
