👍 Yes: “The charges against Penny should all be thrown out as Penny was protecting the passengers in that subway car, drugs was a major result of the death of that deranged SOB Penny should be given a medal for standing up and not allowing people to be victims That judge Alvin Bragg is out for blood he's a psycho period.”

👍 Yes: “Daniel Penny was acting in self defense and the defense of other scared subway passengers. How terrible that this poor guy is dealing with this. He was just trying to go to work. ”

👎 No: “I did agree with it until I discovered that the prosecution was pushing it and not the defense. The defense stated by allowing the top charge to be dismissed, it all but guarantees Penny will be convicted of the lessor charge. I don’t understand the legalities of it, but if the defense was against it, it can’t mean anything good for Penny. He should be given a medal and recognized as a hero instead of incarcerated! ”
