🔵 US Exits UNESCO

Good morning. It’s Tuesday, July 22.

President Trump is pulling the US out of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), citing its anti-America and anti-Israel leanings as well as its woke agenda, The Post has reported.

Trump ordered a 90-day review of America’s presence in UNESCO back in February, with special emphasis on probing any “anti-Semitism or anti-Israel sentiment within the organization.”

Upon conducting the review, administration officials took issue with UNESCO’s diversity, equity and inclusion policies as well as its pro-Palestinian and pro-China bias, a White House official told The Post.

US Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said he intends to meet with Jeffrey Epstein’s madam Ghislaine Maxwell, in “the coming days” to see if she would be willing to disclose more information to the feds about the late sex offender.

“President Trump has told us to release all credible evidence. If [Ghislaine] Maxwell has information about anyone who has committed crimes against victims, the FBI and the DOJ will hear what she has to say,” Blanche said in a statement.

“I anticipate meeting with Ms. Maxwell in the coming days. Until now, no administration on behalf of the Department had inquired about her willingness to meet with the government. That changes now.”

President Donald Trump said he would hit Iranian nuclear sites again “if necessary,” reiterating his warning to Tehran that it should abandon its ambitions to keep enriching uranium.

Trump noted the comments made by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi during an interview with Fox News anchor Bret Baier, in which the diplomat described the severity of the damage caused by the U.S. strikes on his country’s main nuclear facilities on June 22.

Araghchi said the enrichment facilities had been “destroyed.”

The Trump administration released a trove of records relating to the assassination of civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday.

The documents were disclosed in spite of long-held objections from King’s family that they could be misused to distort his legacy.

The Trump administration released the files to fulfill an executive order that the president signed days into his second term, which also promised to release documents relating to the assassinations of John F. Kennedy and Robert F. Kennedy.

Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. will meet with President Donald Trump at the White House on Tuesday for bilateral talks focused on security and trade.

Before departing for the Philippines on Sunday, Marcos—the first Association of Southeast Asian Nations leader to visit Trump since he returned to the White House in January—said the meeting builds on progress made in the first six months of Trump’s second administration.

“My visit to Washington, D.C., and most importantly, my meeting with President Trump, is essential to continuing to advance our national interests and strengthening our alliance,” Marcos said in a statement.

Tens of thousands of illegal aliens have self-deported since the Trump administration began encouraging illegal aliens to return to their nations of origin and repurposed an app used by the Biden administration to streamline mass migration into the United States, a new report says.

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials, Breitbart News reports, say that there have been tens of thousands of illegal alien self-deportations since the Trump administration overhauled the Customs and Border Patrol One app.

The platform was originally used by migrants to remotely schedule asylum application interviews before the Trump administration revamped it, now allowing illegal aliens to submit their intent to depart from the United States, giving officials an estimate on the number of illegal aliens leaving the country by their own accord.

The creators of Comedy Central’s “South Park” reached a breakthrough Monday in the tense negotiations over the streaming rights of the long-running satirical cartoon.

Paramount agreed to buy the global streaming rights for “South Park” to bring the show to the company’s digital service, Paramount+, for the first time in the U.S., according to three people close to the negotiations who were not authorized to comment.

The deal with Trey Parker and Matt Stone, through their Park County production company, values the global streaming rights at $300 million a year, according to two of the people close to the agreement, who could not discuss the matter publicly because the deal is not final.
