🔵 US Warship "Attacked"

Good morning. It’s Sunday, March 16.

Yemen’s Houthi terrorists claimed to have attacked the USS Harry Truman aircraft carrier – as well as several American warships – in the Red Sea.

The terror group said, without offering evidence, that they attacked the Truman and its warships with ballistic missiles and drones in response to the U.S. attacks.

Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Sarea said on Sunday: ‘The armed forces, with the help of God Almighty, carried out a qualitative military operation targeting the American aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman and its accompanying warships in the northern Red Sea, using 18 ballistic and cruise missiles and drones in a joint operation carried out by the missile force, Drone Air Force and the naval forces.’

A federal judge who temporarily blocked President Trump’s bid to rapidly deport Venezuelan gang members via the 18th century Alien Enemies Act is facing an impeachment push — including by Elon Musk.

Shortly after the judge’s temporary order was issued, Rep. Brandon Gill (R-Texas) announced plans to file articles of impeachment against the judge, drawing praise from Musk.

“Necessary,” Musk wrote on X after Gill revealed his plans to introduce articles of impeachment against the judge.

The US has flown more than 250 accused migrant gang members to El Salvador, where they were sent to a notorious mega-prison — in direct defiance of a federal judge’s ruling against the Trump administration.

The flights included 238 members of the Venezuelan prison gang Tren de Aragua, as well as 23 members of MS-13, Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele, revealed Sunday morning.

Upon landing in El Salvador, the accused men were met on the tarmac by dozens of armed commandos and immediately transferred to the Terrorism Confinement Center (CECOT), according to dramatic video posted by Bukele.

The Democratic Party’s favorable ratings are falling to new lows, according to two new national polls.

Just 29% of those questioned in a CNN poll released on Sunday say they have a favorable view of the party, with 54% holding an unfavorable view.

That’s a record low in CNN polling dating back more than three decades.

A man was set on fire in Times Square early Sunday in a horrifying attack possibly fueled by the contents of a bottle of Patron tequila, leaving the victim with burns all over his face and arms, authorities said.

Police are still hunting for the attacker, who threw some kind of accelerant on his 45-year-old victim at the corner of West 41st Street and Broadway in Manhattan just before 4 a.m. and lit him on fire, officials said.

It’s unclear whether the men knew each other, authorities said.

The crew aboard a SpaceX Dragon capsule sent to retrieve two astronauts stranded in space for nine months were greeted by an ‘alien’ as they docked at the International Space Station (ISS).

NASA astronaut Nick Hague, who was already aboard the ISS, gave the incoming crew an extraterrestrial welcome by donning an alien mask for their arrival.

The SpaceX Dragon crew successfully reached the station after taking off from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.

Elon Musk has confirmed that SpaceX’s Starship will head to Mars at the end of 2026. The ship will be carrying Optimus, Tesla’s humanoid robot. The tech billionaire said that if all goes well, humans could be on the red planet by 2029, although he admitted that 2031 is more likely.

The X account for Optimus replied to Musk’s announcement with just two words: “Hold on.”

“Starship is the world’s most powerful launch vehicle ever developed, capable of carrying up to 150 metric tonnes fully reusable and 250 metric tonnes expendable,” SpaceX writes on its website. In US tons, that is up to 165 tons of fully reusable and up to 275 tons expendable.
